Ingredients Required For Preparation Of Besan Cheela

Followings ingredient are required for making amla murabba.

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Besan
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp Ajwain
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 1/2 Cup methi/ coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Oil for frying

How To Prepare?

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, except oil. Keep adding water to make a smooth and thick paste. Keep it aside for rest for 15-20 minutes. Take a non-stick pan and add some oil. Pour some batter in the center and spread it to make a cheela. Cook well on both sides. Keep adding some oil from the sides if required. Serve hot with tomato or mint chutney. You can also add a filling using paneer for this cheela. Just crumble some paneer and cook it with some spices and your filling is ready!
