Description
The Latin name of Marich or Kali Mirch is Piper nigrum. Marich is cultivated for its fruit is usually used as a dried seed as a spice. This herb is a native plant of South India and other tropical regions. It is also cultivated in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and other European and African regions. Dried Marich is used extensively due to its flavor and medicinal values. This is one of the most important and world’s most traded spice which adds spiciness and flavor to the cuisines.
